George Mason took over the extra session, winning the game at the free throw line and behind a career performance from redshirt sophomore guard Taylor Brown, 35 points, as the Patriots defeated UMass 85-75 in the Opening Round game of the 2014 Atlantic 10 Tournament at the Richmond Coliseum.
